Local Transport in Samsun

There are many means of travelling in the city (tram, municipal buses, minibus, shared taxi, maximum 3 TL)

After you have been issued a student ID from Samsun University you may apply for a student discount for travel prepaid card “SAMKART” to be used on all public transport (tram, city busses) in Samsun. Public transport in Samsun is very convenient, frequent and reasonable in price.

International and Intercity Transport

Plane

Samsun Çarşamba Airport is 19 km far away from the city center and daily national and international flights are available. There are many airport shuttles can be use by the passangers who want to arrive the city center. The shuttle cost is arround 3,00 EUR.
